What is a power of two textures?
Power of two textures have a size of power of two in each dimension:
1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048...
They do not have to be square: (i.e. 512x64
Must of them are created to be part of Video Games, Computer Games or Real Time aplications.
Where can I find the textures of a purchased product?
The texture for a purchased product are always par of the main zip file you download.
In some cases because of the size of the textures, we create an individual zip file with them, that you can download apart from the main file.
You will find all the files for a purchased product at the download page of it. You get acces to this page with the ID we send you by email.
How do I know how many polygons a product has?
On each individual product page is listed its information. It is on the right side.
In there is listed:
- Name of artist
- Name of product
- Price
- Rating
- Files included with the product
Also for 3D Models is listed the amount of polygons and vertexs. For pictures is listed the size and DPI.
What File formats are included within the products?
Each 3D Model products include 3 different File formats. Max, 3DS and OBJ.
The textures are either jpgs or tgas. In the case a material or shader needs an alpha chanel, a tga with the alpha channel is included or a jpg with the alpha channel is provided.
The OBJ file format is an open universally accepted format.
The OBJ file format is a simple data-format that represents 3D geometry alone — namely, the position of each vertex, the texture coordinate associated with a vertex, the normal at each vertex, and the faces that make each polygon.
The Obj file format can be imported/exported from Poser, Autodesk's Maya, Avid's Softimage|XSI, Blender, MeshLab, Misfit Model 3D, 3D Studio Max, and Rhinoceros 3D, Hexagon, Newtek Lightwave, Art of Illusion, GLC_Player etc.
